Boards of Kettering CIC

We exist to celebrate the joy of playing modern board games.

We recognise the value of using board games in education and are developing a programme to improve skills and well-being using board games.

Monthly Board Game Café

Our Board Game CafĂ© night is on the first Friday of the month at Johnny’s Happy Place in Kettering.

NEW for 2025: We are now running a second regular board game cafe night at nearby Geddington’s delightful Cafe Oak.

Boards of Kettering on the High Street

Vintage Guru, St Giles Street, Northampton NN1 1JW.

We are proud to be among the huge array of traders in Vintage Guru. You can purchase a wide selection of our board games in this excellent establishment.

That Pink Shop, 58 High Street, Kettering NN16 8SX.

Where it all started – we’ve been a trader in That Pink Shop (formerly The Bean Hive) since 2019. Take a look at our shelves, stocked with games, upstairs.

Kitsch Mitch, The Yards, 10 Market Street, Kettering NN16 0AH.

We love Kitsch Mitch – Mark and Mitch are legends and stock loads of cool and quirky stuff at their super inclusive shop in The Yards. They also have free-to-play arcade games, natch!.

Northants Board Game Convention 2025

The second Northants Board Game Convention took place over two days on the 1st and 2nd August 2025.

The first Northants Board Game Convention was held at Kettering Arts Centre in August 2024. You can see photos and information from the 2024 event here.
